Oliver County, North Dakota
Oliver County is a county located in the U.S. state of North Dakota. As of the 2010 census, the population was 1,846. Its county seat and only city is Center. The county was created by the 1885 territorial legislature and was organized on May 18, 1885. It was named for Harry S. Oliver of Lisbon, North Dakota (1855-1909), a Republican politician and member of the Dakota Territory House of Representatives at the time.

Salem Sue (or The World's Largest Holstein Cow) is a large fiberglass Holstein cow sculpture located in New Salem, North Dakota. Salem Sue was built in 1974 for $40,000. The project was sponsored by the New Salem Lions Club in honor of the local dairy farming industry. The statue stands 38 feet high and is 50 feet long. It sits on School Hill near Interstate 94 off exit 127 S and can be viewed for several miles. A road leads up to the base of Sue.
