Calera is a town in Bryan County, Oklahoma, United States, only 5 miles south of Durant and 10 miles north of the Oklahoma-Texas stateline. The population was 2,164 at the 2010 census, an increase of 24.4 percent from 1,739 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Durant Micropolitan Area.

The Choctaw Casino Resort is a casino and hotel complex located in Durant, Oklahoma. The complex has 218,844 sq ft of gaming floor, over 4,500 slot machines, a total of 431 hotel rooms, and is owned and operated by the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. The resort has two casinos and two hotels within the complex. The South Casino was completed in 2006 with 108,844 sq ft of floor space, and the North Casino was completed in 2010 with 110,000 sq ft more floor space.

Durant Regional Airport - Eaker Field is a public airport located three miles (5 km) south of the City of Durant, Oklahoma, established in September 1943. It is three miles (5 km) south of Durant's central business district, off of U.S. 69/75. Its field elevation is 698 feet . The airport is home to Southeastern Oklahoma State University's Aviation Sciences Institute.

Colbert, Oklahoma

Colbert is a town in Bryan County, Oklahoma, United States. The population was 1,140 at the 2010 census, a 7 percent increase from 1,065 at the 2000 census. It was incorporated in 1939. The town was named after Benjamin "Frank" Franklin Colbert (1826/1828-1893), a Chickasaw and great-grandson of the Scots trader James Logan Colbert and his Chickasaw wife Minta Hoye, who had five sons.
