Thicketty Mountain is a mountain summit in northwestern Cherokee County in the state of South Carolina (SC). Thicketty Mountain climbs to an elevation of around 1,194 feet (364 meters). Thicketty Mountain is also one of the three mountain peaks of Cherokee County.

WYFG is a radio station simulcasting the Bible Broadcasting Network for the Gaffney, Spartanburg, and Greenville areas of South Carolina as well as some of the western suburbs of the Charlotte area. Battle of Cowpens

The Battle of Cowpens (January 17, 1781) was a decisive victory by the Continental army forces under Brigadier General Daniel Morgan, in the Southern campaign of the American Revolutionary War. It was a turning point in the reconquest of South Carolina from the British. It took place in northwestern Cherokee County, South Carolina, north of the city of Cowpens.

Peachoid

The Peachoid is a four-story (150 feet tall) water tower in Gaffney, South Carolina, United States, that resembles a peach. The water tower holds one million gallons of water and is located on Interstate 85 between exits 90 and 92. Usually referred to by passing motorists as "Mr. Peach" or "The Moon over Gaffney. " The water tank is visible for several miles around these exits.

Second Broad River

The Second Broad River is a tributary of the Broad River in western North Carolina in the United States. Via the Broad and Congaree rivers, it is part of the watershed of the Santee River, which flows to the Atlantic Ocean. The Second Broad River rises in south-central McDowell County about 5 miles southwest of Marion, and flows generally southeastwardly through Rutherford County, passing to the east of the town of Forest City.
