Mesquite ProRodeo

The Mesquite ProRodeo is a rodeo located in Mesquite, Texas that operates during rodeo season (roughly April through September). Named the Mesquite Championship Rodeo prior to its purchase by Camelot Sports and Entertainment in 2009, it is also addressed as simply the Mesquite Rodeo. Founded in 1958 by Neal Gay as a permanent rodeo (as opposed to many other rodeos that would move from town to town), the rodeo struggled in the early years, but grew as the city of Mesquite grew.

Mesquite Tower

Mesquite Tower is a free-standing lattice tower located in Mesquite, Texas, USA that is approximately 510 feet tall. It is from unconventional design and was built in 1990. It stands between West Mesquite High School and Memorial Stadium. Owned by the Mesquite Independent School District, it is a 61,000 watt radio tower used by the radio station KEOM which is also operated by Mesquite Independent School District.

Memorial Stadium (Mesquite, Texas)

Memorial Stadium is a stadium in Mesquite, Texas. It was built in 1977 and is located on the campus of West Mesquite High School, next to Mesquite Tower. The field is primarily used for football, and all five High Schools in Mesquite share use of the field. The stadium has a capacity of 20,000 people, making it one of the largest high school football stadiums in Texas. Due to its size and central location, the field is often used as a neutral-site for Texas High School Football playoff games.
