Lake Whitney Ranch
Lake Whitney Ranch is a 876-acre property near Whitney, Texas that is under development as a summer youth camp, Pathfinder camp, church camp and conference center for the Texas Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. The ranch is a replacement for Nameless Valley Ranch which was sold in 2007. The camp consists of two bundles of property that are divided by a Farm to Market road. The "north" property is where most of the buildings and camp activity will take place.

Lake Whitney is a flood control reservoir on the main stem of the Brazos River in Texas. It is located on River Mile Marker 442 and controls drainage for 17,656 square miles of Texas and parts of New Mexico. The reservoir encompasses a surface area of more than 23,500 acres and 225 miles of shoreline. The area consists of rolling, tallgrass prairies; cedar trees; hardwood timber; and 100 ft bluffs and rock points. Lake Whitney is also part of the Texas Lakes Trail Region of North Texas.

Laguna Park, Texas
Laguna Park is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Bosque County in central Texas, United States. As of the 2010 census, it had a population of 1,276. Laguna Park is located along State Highway 22 in southeastern Bosque County, approximately 27 miles northwest of Waco. The community is situated at the southern end of Lake Whitney, near the dam. Following the completion of Whitney Dam in the early 1950s, Laguna Park became a recreation destination.
