Lake Pflugerville
Lake Pflugerville is a reservoir in Pflugerville, Texas in the United States. Construction of the 180-acre reservoir began in 2005 and was completed in 2006. Pumps are used to flow water through a 16-mile pipeline to the reservoir from the lower Colorado River. Its main purpose is to provide water to area residents. Recreation activities also surround the reservoir. Amenities include a 3 mi -long granite hike and bike trail and fishing piers.

Pflugerville is a city in Travis and Williamson counties in the U.S. state of Texas. The population was 16,335 at the 2000 census. Pflugerville is a suburb of Austin and part of the Austin–Round Rock–San Marcos Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Manor Downs
Manor Downs is a horse racetrack located outside Manor, Texas, United States. It is Texas's oldest pari-mutuel horse racetrack. Live racing in the Spring features both quarter horse and thoroughbred racing. Simulcast racing is shown year round. Frances Carr and Sam Cutler began development of Manor Downs in 1975 on 44 acres of land that had an old horse race track on it. They initially planned for Manor Downs to be a horse training stable and fairground facility.
