KCEN-TV
KCEN-TV is the NBC-affiliated television station for Central Texas including the cities of Waco, Temple and Killeen. Licensed to Temple, it broadcasts a high definition digital signal on VHF channel 9 from a transmitter in rural northwest Falls County. Owned by the London Broadcasting Company, KCEN maintains studios 1 mile south of Eddy. Mooreville, Texas
Mooreville is an unincorporated community in Falls County, Texas. It is located just off of Highway 7 four miles northwest of Chilton on Farm Road 2643. Never being established, Mooreville posted a population of about 95 in 2000 after peaking at 180 in the late 19th century. The post office was discontinued in 1906 and the school consolidated with Chilton in 1950.

The Chilton Independent School District offers extra-curricular activities, most notably football, which is played in the stadium at Featherston Field.
