Dyersdale, Texas

Dyersdale is an unincorporated area in Harris County, Texas, United States. The name originates from Clement C. Dyer, one of the "Old Three Hundred" of Stephen F. Austin's colonists. A post office opened in 1913. In 1914 the community, with 250 residents, had a lumber company. The post office closed in 1917. An oilfield opened in the mid-1930s. In 1936 the community had scattered residences and a school. By 1946 the oilfield was still in production.

KLAT

KLAT, branded as "La Tremenda 1010", is a Spanish language news-talk radio station in the Houston, Texas, metropolitan area. It is currently owned by Univision. The station's name, La Tremenda 1010 (which translates literally to "The Tremendous 1010") was a slogan created by the station's founders Marcos Rodriguez, Sr. and Marcos A. Rodriguez. The station also serves as the Spanish radio flagship of the Houston Astros and the Houston Texans.

Mount Houston, Texas

Mount Houston is a community in north central Harris County, Texas. It is east of U.S. Highway 59, near the Dyersdale oil field. Mount Houston was established along the Houston, East and West Texas Railway. At that time it was 10 miles away from Houston. A post office opened in 1910. In 1914 Mount Houston had 100 people. It featured several market gardeners. It included two churches, a sawmill, and a lumber company. The post office closed in 1918.

Crenshaw Memorial Stadium

J.H. Crenshaw Memorial Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in unincorporated Harris County located northeast of Houston, Texas. The stadium is owned and operated by Sheldon Independent School District and is composed of a track and field which are used for various sports. The stadium is situated in the space between C.E. King Middle School and C.E. King High School and is shared by both schools, in addition to Michael R. Null Middle School.
