Rose Hill Acres is a city in Hardin County, Texas, United States. The population was 441 at the 2010 census. The city is little more than two residential neighborhoods situated between Beaumont and Lumberton. It is part of the Beaumont–Port Arthur Metropolitan Statistical Area. Rose Hill Acres has a small government structure led by Mayor Rick Thomisee. Rose Hill Acres is served by the Lumberton Independent School District and the Lumberton Municipal Utility District.

Beaumont is a city in and county seat of Jefferson County, Texas, United States, within the Beaumont–Port Arthur Metropolitan Statistical Area. The city's population was 118,296 at the 2010 census making it the twenty-fourth most populous city in the state of Texas. With Port Arthur and Orange, it forms the Golden Triangle, a major industrial area on the Gulf Coast. Lamar University with its 15,000 students is located in Beaumont.

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Beaumont is a Roman Catholic diocese covering thirteen counties and portions of two others in Texas. The diocese was founded on September 29, 1966; the first bishop was Most Rev. Vincent Madeley Harris, D.D. St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica serves as the cathedral church. Beaumont (Amtrak station)

Amtrak's Beaumont Station serves Beaumont, Texas via the Sunset Limited service. After the station sustained damage in Hurrican Rita the station building was removed and only a concrete platform was left. A new station is to be constructed, which will utilize $1.2 million in federal stimulus funding.
