Lake Rescue is located along VT Route 100 about three miles north of Ludlow and Okemo Mountain, and it is surrounded by the town of Ludlow.

The Williams River is a 27.0-mile river in the U.S. state of Vermont. It is a tributary of the Connecticut River. Its watershed covers 117 square miles; land use is about 80% forested and 4% agricultural, and the upper river supports wild brook trout and brown trout. The Williams River rises in the northern part of the town of Andover and flows east through a corner of Ludlow and into Chester, where it turns south.

Plymouth Notch is a small unincorporated village in the town of Plymouth, Windsor County, Vermont, United States. All or most of the village is included in the Calvin Coolidge Homestead District, a National Historic Landmark. John Calvin Coolidge, Sr. , the father of Calvin Coolidge, was Justice of the Peace in this town and here Coolidge was sworn in as president almost immediately upon the death of his predecessor, Warren G. Harding, who died suddenly in 1923.
