Quillayute Airport

Quillayute Airport, formerly known as Quillayute State Airport, is a public airport located approximately 10 miles west of the city of Forks, in Clallam County, Washington, United States. It is owned by the City of Forks. This former Naval Auxiliary Air Station was deeded to the City of Forks by the Washington State Department of Transportation in 1999.

Quileute Tribal School

Quileute Tribal School (QTS) is a Quileute, Native American school located in La Push, Washington. It is a K-12 school, serving students in grades kindergarten – 12. QTS is part of the Quillayute Valley School District. The school was founded in 1971. The principal is Jack Fry. The school is accredited by AdvancED. There were ten elderly speakers of the Quileute language in 1977, and "a few" in 1999.

La Push Beach

La Push Beach is a series of beach chains called Beach one, two, and three. Beach one is fourteen miles, beach two is thirteen, and beach three is twelve miles away from the town of Forks, located along the Pacific Coastline of Washington State, near the most western point of the continental United States. The beach’s most prominent natural growth is the Sitka, Spruce, and Evergreen trees that populate the shore.

James Island (Washington)

James Island is an island at the mouth of the Quillayute River near La Push, Washington, reportedly named either for Francis W. James, the first white man to climb the island in 1885, though the Origin of Washington Geographic Names attributes the naming to a Quileute chief named Jimmie Howeshatta. Until the second half of the 19th century, the island was the site of a fortified village.
