Pendleton County is a county located in the U.S. state of West Virginia. As of the 2010 census, the population was 7,695. http://quickfacts. census. gov/qfd/states/54/54071. html Its county seat is Franklin. It was created by the Virginia General Assembly in 1787 which became effective in 1788 from parts of Augusta, Hardy, and Rockingham Counties and was named for Edmund Pendleton (1721–1803), a distinguished Virginia statesman and jurist.

Seneca Caverns (West Virginia)

Seneca Caverns is a karst show cave in Riverton, West Virginia. It was used for ceremonies of Seneca Indians, an Iroquois confederacy tribe and is commercially used since 1930. The biggest place inside the cave is the Grand Ballroom, which is 10 m by 20 m wide.
