Batken Province

Batken Province is a province of Kyrgyzstan. Its capital and largest city is Batken. It is bounded on the east by Osh Province, on the south, west and north by Tajikistan and on the northeast by Uzbekistan. The northern part of the province is part of the flat, agricultural Ferghana Valley. The land rises southward to the mountains on the southern border: the Alay Mountains in the east, and the Turkestan Range in the west.

Namangan Province

Namangan Province is a viloyat (province) of Uzbekistan, located in the southern part of the Fergana Valley in far eastern part of the country. It is on the right bank of Syr Darya River and borders with Kyrgyzstan, Fergana Province and Andijan Province. It covers an area of 7,900 km. The population is estimated to be around 1,970,000, with over 62% of the population living in rural areas. Namangan Province is divided into 11 administrative districts.
