Charvak Lake

Lake Charvak (from Chor bogh, four gardens in Persian) (also transliterated as Tcharvak) Uzbek: Chorvoq is a water reservoir in the northern part of Tashkent Province, Uzbekistan. The reservoir was created by erecting a 168 m high stone dam (Charvak Hydropower Station) on the Chirchiq River, a short distance downstream from the confluence of Pskem, Ko'ksu and Chatkal rivers in the western Tian-Shan mountains, which provide the main volume of water.

Brichmulla

Brichmulla (also spelled Brich Mulla and Brich-Mulla) is a village in the northeast of Tashkent Province, Uzbekistan, by the Koksu River near its inflow into the Charval Reservoir by the southwestern extremity of the Koksu Ridge, west Tian Shan. It is about 120 km NEE from Tashkent. By 2005, Brichmulla had population of 4,100 in 760 families. A Neanderthal archaeological site exists near Brichmulla. In mediaeval times, Brichmulla was an important town, a fortress and mining location.

Greater Chimgan

Greater Chimgan (3,309 m) of the Chatkal Mountain range (the Western Tian Shan) is located in the territory of the Ugam-Chatkal National Park, and it is in the Bostanlyk administrative district, Uzbekistan. The Chimgan village was settled 400–500 years ago in the mountain massive of dominant the Greater Chimgan peak (3,309 m), at an altitude of 1,620 m. Some experts see Chinese words in the name "Chimgan" but others translate it as "sod" or "pasture abundant in water, green valley".
