Quoin Hill Airport

Quoin Hill Airport was an airport in North Efate, in Vanuatu. The airstrip was used during World War II but is no longer usable as an airstrip. Investigations took place in the late 1980s as to whether Quoin Hill could be used as an alternate for Bauerfield International Airport but this never came to fruition.

Moso (island)

Moso Island is an island in Vanuatu, in Shefa Province. Along with Lelepa Island, it creates the harbour at north Efate known as Port Havannah. This harbour was a focal point during World War II, with many troops stationed there, including posts on Moso itself. Today, small tokens of the soldiers' presence can still be seen on Moso.

Efate

Efate is an island in the Pacific Ocean which is part of the Shefa Province in The Republic of Vanuatu. It is also known as Île Vate. It is the most populous (approx. 50,000) island in Vanuatu. Efate's land area of 899.5 square kilometres makes it Vanuatu's third largest island. Most inhabitants of Efate live in Port Vila, the national capital. Its highest mountain is Mount McDonald with a height of 647 metres .

Bauerfield International Airport

Bauerfield International Airport is an airport located in Port Vila, Vanuatu. The airport is relatively small in size, but its runway has the capability and length to accept jets up to the Boeing 767. It serves as the hub for Vanuatu's flag carrier airline, Air Vanuatu.

Mele (island)

Mele Island (also known by tourists as Hideaway Island) is a Polynesian outlier and islet in Vanuatu. The island is owned by the local Mele villagers, but is leased to the owners of Hideaway Island Resort. The island is accessed by a boat service from nearby Port Vila and offers accommodation and watersports to visitors.
