Valchedram

Valchedram (also transliterated Vǎlčedrǎm, Vulchedrum, etc. ) is a town in northwestern Bulgaria, part of Montana Province. It is the administrative centre of Valchedram Municipality, which lies in the northeastern part of Montana Province. As of December 2009, the town has a population of 3,817 inhabitants. Valchedram is located in the western Danubian Plain, near the Tsibritsa and Danube rivers. The first school in Valchedram was founded in 1780.

Tsibritsa

The Tsibritsa is a river in the western Danubian Plain of northern Bulgaria and a right tributary of the Danube. The river originates in the Shiroka Planina ("Wide Mountain") area of the Fore-Balkan Mountains near the Serbian border and flows in a northeast direction diagonally through Montana Province. East of the village of Dolni Tsibar in Valchedram municipality, it flows into the Danube. The Tsibritsa has a length of 87.5 kilometres and a drainage basin of 933.6 square kilometres.

Yakimovo

Yakimovo is a village in northwestern Bulgaria, part of Montana Province. It is the administrative centre of Yakimovo Municipality, which lies in the northern part of Montana Province. Yakimovo was formed in the 20th century through the official merger of the neighbouring villages of Progorelets, Kotenovtsi and Voynitsi into one. The village is located in the western Danubian Plain and is crossed by the Tsibritsa river, a tributary of the Danube.
