Delyan, Sofia Province

Delyan is a village in the Sofia Province, western Bulgaria, near the town of Breznik. The old historic name of the village is Karnul. As of 2007, the village has only 18 permanent inhabitants. Delyan is located in the municipality of Bozhurishte, 34 km west of Sofia on the eastern slopes of Viskyar Mountain with an average altitude of 790 meters. Its houses are nestled in a beautiful valley between three small peaks of Viskyar.

Bratushkovo

Bratushkovo is a village in Slivnitsa municipality, Sofia Province, located in western Bulgaria approximately 8 km south-west of the town of Slivnitsa. The village was first mentioned in Ottoman tax registers of 1576 as Bratkovitsa. The name is derived from the personal name Bratushko or Bratko.

Petarch

Petarch is a village in Kostinbrod municipality, Sofia Province, located in western Bulgaria approximately 5 km south-west of the town of Kostinbrod. In the centre there is a monument, several pubs and a computer club. There exist an Orthodox church and a school. There are several buses to Kostinbrod and Sofia. Petarch was first mentioned as Bedriç in an Ottoman record of 1448, later as Bedric in 1520, Petreiç in 1574, Petriç in 1728, Petriçe in 1519, 1574 and 1649.
