Granit, Bulgaria
Granit is a village in southern Bulgaria, Bratya Daskalovi municipality, Stara Zagora Province. The village is famous for the oldest tree in Bulgaria and one of the most ancient in the world, the Granit Oak, estimated to be about 1,700 years old. It was formed in 1945 upon the merger of two villages, Golobradovo and Skobelovo. In 1989 its population was 1103.

Granit Oak
Granit Oak is an English (Pedunculate) oak tree that grows within the boundaries of Granit village, Bulgaria. The oak measures 2.38 m in diameter and 7.46 m in girth at waist level and reaches 23.4 m in height, but only eastern side branches remain alive. In March 1982 samples were taken with a pressler drill, from which it was estimated that the tree was 1637 years old. With an estimated germination date of 345 AD, it is the oldest tree in Bulgaria and one of the oldest in Europe.

Bratya Daskalovi (also transliterated Bratja Daskalovi or Bratia Daskalovi) is a village in southern Bulgaria, part of Stara Zagora Province with a population of 750 inhabitants as of December 2009. It is the administrative centre of the homonymous Bratya Daskalovi Municipality, which lies in the western part of Stara Zagora Province. It is located in the Upper Thracian Plain, the historical region of Thrace.

Stryama
The Stryama (Bulgarian: Стряма, known in Antiquity as Syrmus) is a river in southern Bulgaria, an important left tributary of the Maritsa. The river is 110.1 km long and has a drainage basin of 2,853 km². The Stryama takes it source from the Balkan Mountains under Vezhen Peak, named Kameniditsa in this section, turning east at Stryama Station to pass close to Klisura and turn southeast at Rozino entering the Karlovo Plain.
