Palitsi Reservoir

Palitsi Reservoir is a reservoir the village of Palitsi, Elena Municipality, Bulgaria. This reservoir is part of the Stara Planina mountain range, approximately 10 km east of the town of Elena. The waters of the lake are bred with carp, white fish and perch, which makes it suitable for fishing. Strazhitsa

Strazhitsa (also transliterated Stražica, Strazhica, Strazhitza, etc. ) is a town in northeastern Bulgaria, part of Veliko Tarnovo Province. It is the administrative centre of the homonymous Strazhitsa Municipality, which lies in the eastern part of the Province. The town is located in the central Danubian Plain, not far from the Balkan Mountains, 45 kilometres northeast of the provincial capital of Veliko Tarnovo. As of December 2009, it has a population of 5,170 inhabitants.

Severen tsentralen

Severen Tsentralen is a planning region of Bulgaria, encompassing five Bulgarian provinces: Ruse, Veliko Tarnovo, Gabrovo, Targovishte and Razgrad. The region is mostly inhabited by Bulgarians, Turkish and Romani people. Its largest cities are Ruse (population 175,000), Gabrovo (67,000) and Veliko Tarnovo (100,000, including hinterland). Severen Tsentralen is one of the least developed regions of Europe. Its main economic centre is Ruse, Bulgaria's largest fluvial port.
