Camilo Daza International Airport (Spanish: Aeropuerto Internacional Camilo Daza) is a civil airport located in Cúcuta, Colombia. The airport serves the Norte de Santander Department (Spanish: North Santander State). The airport contains international facilities and is able to operate general aviation flights to international destinations. 1875 Cúcuta earthquake

The Earthquake of Cúcuta also known as Earthquake of the Andes was an earthquake that occurred on 18 May 1875 at 11:15 AM. It completely demolished Cúcuta, Villa del Rosario, San Antonio del Tachira and Capacho. The earthquake killed many Venezuelans in San Cristóbal, La Mulata, Rubio, Michelena, La Grita, Colón, amongst others, and was felt in both Bogotá and Caracas.

Avianca Flight 410

Avianca Flight 410 was a flight that crashed at 13:17 on March 17, 1988, near Cúcuta, Colombia. The aircraft was a Boeing 727-21 operated by Avianca, the national airline of Colombia. Flight 410 was a regular scheduled domestic passenger flight from Cúcuta-Camilo Daza International Airport (CUC) to Cartagena de Indias-Rafael Núñez International Airport (CTG). The aircraft crashed at El Espartillo mountain shortly after takeoff from runway 33 at Cúcuta.
