It completely demolished Cúcuta, Villa del Rosario, San Antonio del Tachira and Capacho. The earthquake killed many Venezuelans in San Cristóbal, La Mulata, Rubio, Michelena, La Grita, Colón, amongst others, and was felt in both Bogotá and Caracas.
