Jeseník District

Jeseník District is a district in the Olomouc Region of the Czech Republic. Its seat is the town Jeseník. The area called Jeseníky region is in the most northern bulge of Silesia and Moravia. It is closed by frontier with Poland that passes westward through Rychleby Hills and crosses the Nysa Lowlands to Zlaté Hory. The massif of Hrubý Jeseník in the south represents both the geomorphologic and climatic contrast to the lowlands of Javorník and Vidnava opened to Poland.

Lázně Jeseník

Lázně Jeseník (until 1948 and in German Gräfenberg) is a small village in the Olomouc Region of the Czech Republic. It is administratively part of the city of Jeseník (Freiwaldau). The place is known for its connection with Vincent Priessnitz, an early proponent of hydrotherapy. Priessnitz had founded the first modern hydrotherapeutic institute in the world here. It is also known for the Sanatorium Priessnitz building and many springs.

Rejvíz

Rejvíz is the highest situated Silesian village in the Czech Republic, and an administrative part of Zlaté Hory. It is also the most important tourist area in the northern part of the Protected Landscape Territory of Jeseník. The Rejvíz Guesthouse is a popular sight because of its wooden interior from the early 20th century, carved by its owners, the Brauner brothers. Its part are also chairs with carved faces of regular customers of that time .

Sławniowice

Sławniowice (German Groß Kunzendorf) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Głuchołazy, within Nysa County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland, close to the Czech border. It lies approximately 8 kilometres west of Głuchołazy, 17 km south of Nysa, and 60 km south-west of the regional capital Opole. Before 1945 the area was part of Germany. The village has a population of 550 and is famous for its marble quarry.
