Městský fotbalový stadion Miroslava Valenty is a multi-use stadium in Uherské Hradiště, Czech Republic. It is used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of 1. FC Slovácko. The Topolna transmitter is the central longwave broadcasting facility of the Czech Republic situated westward of the village Topolná at the Morava River. The Topolna transmitter, which was established in 1951, was in the Communist era often mentioned as "Ceskoslovensko 1", to keep the transmitter's location secret. It uses a directional antenna, whose maxima pointed in an East-West direction.

Velehrad
Velehrad is a village in the Uherské Hradiště District of the Czech Republic. It has a population of 1,323 and is the most important pilgrimage place in the Czech Republic. According to one tradition, in the Middle Ages (9th - beginning 10th century) it was the capital of the Slavic state of Great Moravia. In the 1990s it was visited twice by Pope John Paul II.
