Frederikssund
Frederikssund is a Danish town, seat of the Frederikssund Municipality, in the Region Hovedstaden with a population of 15,468 (1 January 2011). It received the status of market town in 1810. The town is famous for its annual Viking Games as well as for the J.F. Willumsen museum. Since 1935, it has been connected to Hornsherred via the Kronprins Frederik Bridge.

Frederikssund station is the terminus of the Frederikssund radial of the S-train network of Copenhagen, Denmark. It is located near the center of the city of Frederikssund. Frederikssund Municipality
Frederikssund Kommune is a municipality on the shores of Roskilde Fjord in the northern part of the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in eastern Denmark. On 1 January 2007, the municipality was enlarged to include the old Jægerspris, Slangerup, and Skibby municipalities. It now covers an area of 260 km² and has a population of 44,246 (1 January 2009). Its mayor is Ole Find Jensen, a member of the Social Democrats (Socialdemokraterne) political party.

J.F. Willumsens Museum
J.F. Willumsens Museum is in Frederikssund. The museum is an art museum dedicated to the works of the artist Jens Ferdinand Willumsen and was opened in 1957. The museum is located in Frederikssund Municipality. The museum was founded in 1957, designed by the architect Tyge Hvass, and a new wing was opened in 2005, designed by the architect Theo Bjerg. The head of the museum from 1973-1990 and 1993-2006 was art historian mag. art. Leila Krogh (born 1943).
