Hørsholm Municipality

Hørsholm Kommune is a municipality in the Copenhagen Capital Region in the northern part of the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in eastern Denmark. The municipality covers an area of 31 km², and has a total population of 24,197 (2008). Its mayor as of 2010 is Morten Slotved, a member of the Conservative People's Party (Det Konservative Folkeparti) political party. The main town and the site of its municipal council is the town of Hørsholm.

Rungsted Kyst Station

Rungsted Kyst Station is one of the stops on one of the northern Zealand railways in Denmark. The City of Rungsted Kyst (meaning literally "the coast of Rungsted") is one of the outermost suburban areas of Copenhagen situated on the coast north of the Copenhagen Municipality.

Kokkedal

Kokkedal is the municipal seat of Fredensborg municipality and a northern settlement in the urban area of Hørsholm, located on the coastline of northern Zealand, Denmark, between the two towns, Nivå and Hørsholm, 30 km. north of Copenhagen. The settlement is connected with the Oresundtrain towards Copenhagen, Helsingør and Malmö. Kokkedal has, like Nivå, a high number of second & third generation immigrants, most of them with Turkish or Arab roots.

Hirschholm Palace

Hirschholm Palace, also known as Hørsholm Palace, was a royal palace located in present-day Hørsholm municipality just north of Copenhagen, Denmark. It was rebuilt in the Baroque style in the 1740s and, one of the finest buildings of its time, it became known as the "Versailles of the North". It developed a notorious reputation in connection with its role in the affair between Johann Friedrich Struensee and Queen Caroline Mathilda in the 1770s.

Nivå

Nivå is a town with a population of 7,869 (1 January 2011) in the municipality of Fredensborg on the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in Denmark. Nivå is a residential town on the coast of the Øresund. It has a stop on the Copenhagen – Helsingør Kystbanen rail line. The town has a small shopping centre which also includes a library, a railway station, a marina and the Nivaagaards museum. The town possesses two schools; Centralskole and Niverødgaardskolen, whilst a golf course lies to the West.
