Vallø

For other uses of Vallo and Vallø, see Vallo (disambiguation). Vallø was a municipality in the former Roskilde County on the east coast of the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in east Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 84 km², and had a total population of 10,337 (2005). Its last mayor was Poul Arne Nielsen, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party. The main town and the site of its municipal council was the town of Hårlev.

Køge station

Køge station is the principal railway station in Køge near Copenhagen, Denmark. It is the terminus of an S-train line that connects it to Copenhagen, and of Østbanen which serves the Stevns peninsula. The station provides transfers among these railways and the regional trains on Lille Syd between Roskilde and Næstved. A fountain, located on the small square in front of the station, created by the Swedish-born artist Pontus Kjerrman in 1993, represents the "catwoman" and the "horseman".

Køge Huskors

Køge Huskors was the name for a witch trial in the city of Køge in Denmark, which took place in 1608–1615. It is one of the best known witch trials in Denmark. It led to the execution of between fifteen and twenty women by burning at the stake.
