Illerup Ådal is an archeological site located near Skanderborg, Denmark. The first findings at the river valley Illerup Ådal were revealed in 1950, during the drainage works. Skanderborg Festival
The Skanderborg festival is an annual music festival held during the second weekend of August. Its scenic location, in a beech forest in the vicinity of Skanderborg, has given it the name Danmarks Smukkeste Festival ("Denmark’s Most Beautiful Festival"). It covers many styles of music, such as rock, pop, folk, heavy metal, hip-hop and electronic. The first festival was held in 1980 and was a one-day event with 7 bands and about 600 spectators.

Galten Municipality
