Ginnerup

Ginnerup, is a small settlement in Denmark, located in north eastern Jutland. It is located around 10 km west of Grenå. It is a part of Norddjurs Municipality in Region Midtjylland. Ginnerup is the place of birth of Anders Fogh Rasmussen, former Prime Minister of Denmark and currently the 12th Secretary General of NATO.

Nørre Djurs Municipality

Until January 1, 2007 Nørre Djurs municipality was a municipality in the former Aarhus County on the east coast of the Jutland peninsula in central Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 237 km², and had a total population of 7.663 (2005). Its last mayor was Jens Peter Jellesen, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party. The site of its municipal-council was the town of Glesborg.

Huldremose Woman

Huldremose Woman, or Huldre Fen Woman, is a bog body recovered in 1879 from a peat bog near Ramten, Jutland, Denmark. Analysis by Carbon 14 dating revealed the woman had lived during the Iron Age, around 160 BCE-340 CE. The mummified remains are exhibited at the National Museum of Denmark. The elaborate clothing worn by Huldremose Woman has been reconstructed and displayed at several museums.

Norddjurs Municipality

Norddjurs is a municipality in Region Midtjylland in Denmark. It covers an area of 661 km² and a total population of 38,581 (2008). The municipality is also a part of the East Jutland metropolitan area with 1.2 million inhabitants. On 1 January 2007 Norddjurs municipality was created as the result of Kommunalreformen ("The Municipal Reform" of 2007), consisting of the former municipalities of Grenå, Nørre Djurs and Rougsø, along with the eastern part of Sønderhald municipality.
