Hadsund
Hadsund is a commercial and industrial city in Denmark. The town has 4,994 inhabitants (2012) (5457 inhabitants, if one includes Hadsund Syd and is for the most part, on the north side of Mariager Fjord. It is located in Mariagerfjord Municipality and belongs to the North Denmark Region. Until 2007, Hadsund main town in Hadsund Municipality. Today Hadsund the second largest city in Mariagerfjord Municipality after Hobro.

Mariager Fjord
With a length of approximately 35 km (22 statute miles), Mariager Fjord is the longest fjord in Denmark. Mariager Fjord cuts into the Jutland peninsula from the Kattegat sea and ends at the town of Hobro; other important towns along the fjord are Hadsund and Mariager from which the fjord takes its name. Mariager fjord makes up most of the southern limit of the traditional region of Himmerland. In Danish language, any type of inlet in Denmark is called a fjord, even lagoons.

Nørhald Municipality
Until January 1, 2007 Nørhald municipality was a municipality in the former Aarhus County on the east coast of the Jutland peninsula in central Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 201 km², and had a total population of 8.627 (2005). Its last mayor was Anders Buhl-Christensen, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party. The main town and the site of its municipal council was the town of Tvede.

Gudenå
The River Guden, on the Jutland peninsula, is Denmark's longest river. It flows 176 kilometres from Tinnet Krat in Vejle Municipality, between Nørre Snede and Tørring-Uldum, to Randers Fjord in Randers, on a course which takes it through central Jutland. On its way it traverses the lakeland waters of Sminge Sø (Lake Sminge), Silkeborg Langsø, Brassø, Borre Sø, Julsø, Biksø, Rye Mølle Sø, Gudensø, Mossø, Vestbirk Sø, and Naldal Sø.
