Ranum
Ranum is a town in the community of Løgstør and the Vesthimmerland municipality in Denmark. Ranum is situated approx. 10 km south of Løgstør with a population of 1,083 (1 January 2012), this area is part of "Rural" Denmark with very low population. Ranum was established around the year 1100 and has been an attractive village throughout the last millennium. Livø
Livø is a 320-acre Danish island with approximately 10 year-round residents. The island is located in the Limfjord, about 20 minutes by boat from Roenbjerg in the middle of the Limfjord. It is midway between Nykøbing Mors, Løgstør, Fjerritslev and Thisted. Northeast of the island lies Løgstør Bredning while Livø Broads lies west and south of the island.

Limfjordsskolen
Limfjordsskolen is a boarding school for 16 to 19 years old men and women with learning disabilities and other difficulties. It is situated in the town of Løgstør, Denmark. The school was founded in 1969 by the Danish state. 42 pupils stay at the school for a normally three year special education in specific subjects (arts, nature, health, waterlife, theatre) combined with a general curriculum (environment, culture, society et al.).

Løgstør
Løgstør is a town with a population of 4,300 (1 January 2012) and a former municipality in Region Nordjylland on the Jutland Peninsula in northern Denmark. The municipality, including the island of Livø, covered an area of 218 km, and had a total population of 10,270 (2005). Its last mayor was Jens Lauritzen, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party. A bridge connects the former municipality near Tolstrup to the town of Aggersund on the far side of the Agger Strait.
