Dybvad
Dybvad is a small town situated in the south of Frederikshavn Municipality in north Jutland, Denmark. The population of Dybvad is 678 (1 January 2012). The town has excellent road links to Frederikshavn to the north, and Aalborg to the south. The town is surrounded chiefly by open farmland. Although a quiet town, Dybvad hosts an open air music festival in August, called Dybvad Open Air. The festival is usually attended by approximately 2000 people and is held at Søparken (the lake park).

Dronninglund
Dronninglund is a town with a population of 3,326 (1 January 2012) in Brønderslev Municipality, Region Nordjylland on the peninsula of Jutland's eastern coast in northern Denmark. Until 1 January 2007, Dronninglund was also a municipality in North Jutland County. The municipality covered an area of 316 km², and had a total population of 15,213 (2005). Its last mayor was Mikael Klitgaard, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party.

Dronninglund Castle
Dronninglund Castle is a former royal residence located in the northern part of the Jutland Peninsula, Denmark. Its history goes back to the 12th century, when it was the Benedictine monastery of Hundslund Priory. After the last nuns left it in 1581, it was first owned by the Lindenow family. In 1690, Queen Charlotte Amalie acquired it. It is from her that the palace takes the name Dronninglund, meaning "queens forest".

Hundslund Priory
Hundslund Priory was a prominent Benedictine religious house in medieval Denmark. It was later transformed into the royal residence Dronninglund Castle. It is located at Dronninglund, north of Aalborg, Denmark. The priory was established about 1100 on a royal farm given by King Erik II Emune. The priory was built north of Aalborg for Benedictine nuns. It was dedicated to St. Mary and St. Clement (both names were used in documents).
