Odense River
The Odense River is a river located on the island of Funen, in central Denmark. It is about 60 kilometers long and is named after the Funish capital, Odense, which it passes through. Boats can be rented by the river, offering a scenic ride to Fruens Bøge. Excursion boats offer rides to Carlslund, with jazz music some Saturdays during the Summer. During the Viking Age, the fortress Nonnebakken ensured its controller supremacy over the river.

Vollsmose
Vollsmose is a suburb of Odense, the third largest city in Denmark, approximately 3 km North-East of central Odense towards Odense Fiord. A modern housing development project from the 1970´s, there live around 10,000 inhabitants on the two square kilometers. Since the 1990s the area has become known throughout Denmark, because of the much publicity about the high crime-rate and the relatively large numbers of people of foreign descent living in the area.

Danish Railway Museum
The Danish Railway Museum is the national railway museum of Denmark, located in the city of Odense. Established in 1975, it is situated in a former engine shed adjacent to the city's main railway station. It is the largest railway museum in Scandinavia. Covering 10,000 square metres, it contains some 50 locomotives and railway carriages on 20 railtracks from all periods of Danish rail history, plus some original buildings of Danish railways.

Odense County
Odense County is a former province in Denmark, located on the northern half of the island of Funen in central Denmark. Odense County was established in 1806 and abolished in 1970 when it merged with Svendborg County forming the new Funen County. In 1662, the north Funen area was organized as a total of four counties: Odensegård, Rugård, Assens, and Hindsgavl. The four counties merged in 1806 forming Odense County, also including the Hindsholm peninsula from the former Nyborg County.
