Nordfyn Municipality

Nordfyn is a municipality in Region of Southern Denmark in Denmark. It covers an area of 451 km and a total population of 29,651 (2009). On 1 January 2007 Nordfyn municipality was created as the result of Kommunalreformen ("The Municipal Reform" of 2007), consisting of the former municipalities of Bogense, Otterup and Søndersø.

Bogense

Bogense is a town in central Denmark, located on Funen in Nordfyn municipality, Region of Southern Denmark. The town has a population of 3,679 (1 January 2011). The city is connected to Odense and Middelfart via buses operated by Fynbus. The Saint Nicholas Church (Sankt Nikolaj kirke) is located in the city. The Church was built in 1406 on top of an earlier Romanesque church.
