Brorfelde Observatory

Brorfelde Observatory (Brorfelde Observatoriet) is an astronomical observatory (IAU code 054) home to the Brorfelde Schmidt Telescope. It was run as a branch of the Copenhagen University Observatory until 1996. It still has telescopes that are used by University of Copenhagen students, but the staff that manned them moved to the Rockefeller Complex in Copenhagen. It is located near Holbæk, Denmark.

Jernløse Municipality

Until January 1, 2007 Jernløse municipality was a municipality in northeastern West Zealand County on the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 103 km², and had a population of 5,943 (2005). Its last mayor was Annica Granstrøm representing Venstre, Denmark's Liberal Party. The site of the municipal council was the town of Nørre Jernløse. Regstrup is the biggest town in the municipal.

Undløse Church

Undløse Church is located in the village of Undløse some 17 km southwest of Holbæk in northern Zealand, Denmark. The original part of the Romanesque church derives from the late 1100s. The church is noted for its early 15th century frescoes and for its elaborate Baroque altarpiece and pulpit, both woodcuts by Abel Schrøder.

Store Merløse

Store Merløse is a town on Sjælland in Denmark with a population of 1,205 (1 January 2012). It is part of the municipality of Holbæk and close to Tølløse and Ringsted. It is a calm town with a primary school and a few businesses. For high school most people go to Tølløse. There is a local train from Vestsjællands Lokalbaner that will take you from Store Merløse to Tølløse or Slagelse.

Holbæk Municipality

Holbæk municipality is a municipality in northeastern Region Sjælland on the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in Denmark. The municipality includes the island of Orø, and covers an area of 583 km², and has a total population of 69,010 (2008). Its mayor for 2010–2013 is Søren Kjærsgaard, a member of the Liberal Party (Venstre) political party. The main town and the site of its municipal council is the city of Holbæk. The town's name originates from a 16th Century guildmaster named Jan Holbæk.
