Store Merløse is a town on Sjælland in Denmark with a population of 1,205 (1 January 2012). It is part of the municipality of Holbæk and close to Tølløse and Ringsted. It is a calm town with a primary school and a few businesses. For high school most people go to Tølløse. Tølløse Municipality
Until 1 January 2007, Tølløse municipality was a municipality in the northeastern part of the former West Zealand County on the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 126 km², and had a total population of 9,832 (2005). Its last mayor was Poul Erik Jensen, a member of the Danish Social Liberal Party (Det Radikale Venstre) political party. The main town and the site of its former municipal council was the town of Tølløse.

Brorfelde Observatory
Brorfelde Observatory (Brorfelde Observatoriet) is an astronomical observatory (IAU code 054) home to the Brorfelde Schmidt Telescope. It was run as a branch of the Copenhagen University Observatory until 1996. It still has telescopes that are used by University of Copenhagen students, but the staff that manned them moved to the Rockefeller Complex in Copenhagen. It is located near Holbæk, Denmark.
