Lintula Holy Trinity Convent or Lintula Convent (Finnish: Lintulan Pyhän Kolminaisuuden luostari or Lintulan luostari) is a small Orthodox Christian convent located in Palokki, Heinävesi, Finland, close to the New Valamo Monastery. Varistaipale canal
Varistaipale canal is a Finnish canal in Heinävesi. The canal is a part of Heinävesi route, a route with six canals: Kerma, Vihovuonne, Pilppa, Karvio, Taivallahti and Varistaipale canals. The canal was built in 1911–1913 and has four locks. It is the biggest canal in Finland being the only canal to have this many locks. The height of drop totals 14.5 metres and the length is 1,100 metres . Next to the canal there is a canal museum.

Kermajärvi
Kermajärvi (literally Finn. kerma for cream, järvi for lake) is a lake of Finland entirely located in Heinävesi in Southern Savonia. It is the country's 53rd largest lake with an area of 85,57 km² and consists of a wide open lake with plenty of islands in both northwest and southeast parts of it and several long, narrow bays in both ends. Its farthest extension from northwest to southeast is some 29 kilometres.
