Vesijärvi is a lake of 111 square kilometres near Lahti in southern Finland. It suffered severe effects of eutrophication in the 1960s and a restoration programme began in the 1970s. The Enonselkä Basin is a part of Vesijärvi. The name of the lake means The Water Lake.

Lahti Stadium

Lahti Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Lahti, Finland. In Winter the stadium is used in cross-country skiing and biathlon. In summer it is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of FC Lahti. The stadium holds 14,500 and was built in 1981. Stadium is also a well-known venue for cross-country skiing and biathlon. It, along with neighboring ski jumping hills, has hosted two FIS Nordic World Ski Championships and numerous FIS World Cup events.
