ISS Stadion

ISS Stadion, formerly Pohjola Stadion is a football stadium in Vantaa, Finland. It is the homeground of PK-35 Vantaa, which plays in Ykkönen and Allianssi Vantaa, which plays in Kolmonen. The stadium holds 4,700 and was built in 2000.

Veikkaus

Veikkaus Oy is the Finnish national betting agency. It is entirely owned by the Finnish government and has a legal betting license on lotteries and sports betting in Finland. Veikkaus is managed by the Finnish Ministry of Education. Ministry of Education share money earned by Veikkaus with various organizations. In 2010 Veikkaus gave 462.7 million euros for Ministry of Education for sharing. The rules of the games and gaming itself is controlled by the Finnish Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Pähkinärinne

Pähkinärinne (Hasselbacken in Swedish) is a suburb in Western Vantaa, in Finland. It lies roughly between a pond named Lammaslampi and Vihdintie, former Helsinki-Pori main road. There are basic services, for example, a comprehensive school for students from 1st to 6th forms, in Pähkinärinne.

Myyrmanni

Myyrmanni is a shopping center located at the Myyrmäki suburb of Vantaa, Finland. The center was built in the early 1990s and it has over 120 stores and 1,100 parking spaces. It was the site of the Myyrmanni bombing on October 11, 2002. From the center of Helsinki Myyrmanni is best reached by bus 452 or by train M.

Myyrmanni bombing

The Myyrmanni bombing took place on October 11, 2002, in Myyrmäki, Vantaa, Finland, in Greater Helsinki, at the Myyrmanni shopping mall. The bomb killed seven, including two teenagers, a 7-year-old child and the presumed bomber. 166 people were injured, including 10 children. 66 victims required hospitalization with the remainder treated and released at the scene.
