Cap de la Chèvre

The cap de la Chèvre is the southernmost point of the Crozon peninsula in western Brittany in France. Facing south, it faces the north side of cap Sizun and closes off the baie de Douarnenez. Consisting of heath, heather and maritime pines, this headland maintains a savage appearance and magnificent countryside, along with several little villages with stone-built houses typical of the region.

Pointe de Pen-Hir

The pointe de Pen-Hir (Breton - Beg Penn Hir) is a promontory of the Crozon peninsula in Brittany, to the south-west of Camaret-sur-Mer. On a clear day there are views to the Pointe du Raz and the islands of Sein and Ouessant and to Pointe Saint-Mathieu. The 70m tall cliffs are used for climbing. It is the site of the Monument to the Bretons of Free France, known as the Cross of Pen-Hir and inaugurated by General Charles de Gaulle in 1960.

Parc naturel régional d'Armorique

The Parc naturel régional d'Armorique (Breton: Park an Arvorig), or Armorica Regional Natural Park, is a rural protected area located in Brittany. The park land reaches from the Atlantic Ocean to hilly inland countryside. There are sandy beaches, swamps, strange rocks, fast rivers and the hills of Monts d'Arrée, all blended into one landscape. The park also includes three islands: Île de Sein, Molène and Ouessant. The wildlife of the park is diverse and interesting to naturalists.

Kerbonn

Kerbonn is a village in the commune of Camaret-sur-Mer in France, between the pointe de Pen-Hir and the pointe du Toulinguet, on the Crozon peninsula. As well as its fortifications, the site also houses the ruins of the manor of Coecilian.

Tour Vauban

The Tour Vauban, initially known as the tour de Camaret, is an 18m-high polygonal defensive tower built to a plan by Vauban on the Sillon at Camaret-sur-Mer, as part of the fortifications of the goulet de Brest. It has three levels and is flanked by walls, a guardhouse and a gun battery which can hold 11 cannons as well as a cannon-ball foundry added in the French Revolution period.
