Trois Frères

The Cave of the Trois-Frères is a cave in southwestern France famous for its cave paintings. It is located in Montesquieu-Avantès, in the Ariège département. One of these, called "The Sorcerer" is as familiar as any art in the more famous cave of Lascaux. The cave also contained two finely modelled bison. The cave is part of a single cave-complex with the Tuc d'Audoubert, both galleries formed by the Volp River. The cave art appears to date to approximately 13,000 BC.

Saint-Lizier Cathedral

Saint-Lizier Cathedral can refer to either of the two former co-cathedrals of the town of Saint-Lizier in France, Notre-Dame Cathedral (Cathédrale Notre-Dame-de-la-Sède de Saint-Lizier) and St. Lizier's Cathedral (Cathédrale Saint-Lizier de Saint-Lizier), dedicated to Saint Lycerius, an early bishop of Couserans, after whom the town itself is also named.

Atxondo

Atxondo (in Basque and officially, in Spanish Axpe Achondo) is a municipality located in the province of Biscay, in the Basque Country, Spain. Atxondo is part of the comarca of Durangaldea and has a population of 1.447 inhabitants as of 2007 according to the Spanish National Statistics Institute. Atxondo was formed by the fusion of the fomer municipalities of the elizates of Apatamonasterio, Arrazola and Axpe in 1962.

Lèze

The Lèze is a 70.3 km- (43.7 mi) long river in the Ariège and Haute-Garonne départements, southwestern France. Its source is in La Bastide-de-Sérou. It flows generally north. It is a left tributary of the Ariège into which it flows between Labarthe-sur-Lèze and Clermont-le-Fort.
