Störtebeker Festival
The Störtebeker Festival is an annual open air theatre festival in Germany. Originally founded in 1959 as part of an East German culture initiative, it has become Germany's most successful open air theatre event, and is broadcasted by public television network NDR. It is held in the small town of Ralswiek on the isle of Rügen.

Nonnensee
The Nonnensee is a lake in the borough of Bergen auf Rügen, Vorpommern-Rügen district, in the German state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. It is located northwest of the town of Bergen auf Rügen and is a very shallow lake. As a result, attempts were made as early as 1859/60 to drain the lake for agricultural land. Since about 1970 the lake was artificially drained and dried out. In 1993 the pumping station was shut and the lake re-established.

A Thingspiel (plural Thingspiele) was a kind of outdoor theatre which enjoyed brief popularity in pre-war Nazi Germany during the 1930s. A Thingplatz also known as Thingstätte was a specially-constructed outdoor amphitheater built for such Thingspiele. They were constructed in considerable numbers during the early 1930s. An estimated 200 to 400 were at least in the planning stage in the period of 1933 to 1939.

Kleiner Jasmunder Bodden
The Kleiner Jasmunder Bodden belongs to the North Rügen Bodden and is a water body on the southern edge of the Baltic Sea in the German state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. It is a bodden, a type of lagoon that occurs in northern Europe especially on the coast of Pomerania. It is around seven kilometres long and five kilometres acrosss at its widest point, but in places it is considerably narrower. It has an area of 28.4 square kilometres.
