The Usedom Botanical Gardens, Mellenthin (German: Usedoms Botanischer Garten Mellenthin) (60,000 m²) is a private botanical garden located at Chausseeberg 1, Mellenthin, Usedom, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. It is open daily in the warmer months; an admission fee is charged. The garden was constructed between 2006-2008 and opened on May 1, 2009. Balmer See

The Balmer See is the southeastern embayment of the Achterwasser on the island of Usedom off Germany's Baltic coast. Balmer Werder

The uninhabited little island of Balmer Werder lies in the Baltic Sea, in the Balmer See, the southeastern part of the Achterwasser lagoon, between Usedom and the mainland off the village of Balm. Balm belongs to the municipality of Benz in the county of Vorpommern-Greifswald in the German state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The island is 6.3 hectares in area, 500 metres long from north to south and 200 metres wide at its widest point. Its maximum height above sea level (NN) is 5.9 metres.

Usedom Abbey

Usedom Abbey was a medieval Premonstratensian monastery on the isle of Usedom near the town of Usedom. It was founded in Grobe and later moved to nearby Pudagla, and is thus also known as Grobe Abbey or Pudagla Abbey respectively. The abbey was founded by the Pomeranian duke Ratibor I and his wife, Pribislawa, in the course of the conversion of Pomerania to Christianity.
