Botanischer Garten Rombergpark

The Botanischer Garten Rombergpark, or informally Rombergpark, is an extensive municipal arboretum and botanical garden located at Am Rombergpark 49b, Dortmund, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. With its total area of 65 hectares the Rombergpark is one of the largest botanical gardens in the world. It is open daily. The garden was established in 1822 as the Romberg family's English landscape park.

Lenne

The Lenne is a river in the Sauerland area in North Rhine-Westphalia, western Germany, a left tributary of the Ruhr. Having its source on top of the Kahler Asten near Winterberg in an intermittent spring at an elevation of 2,687 feet, the Lenne ends after a course of 128 km flowing into the Ruhr river near the city of Hagen. With an average discharge of 25 m³/s near its mouth, it is the main tributary of the Ruhr.

Hörde

Hörde is a Stadtbezirk ("City District") and also a Stadtteil in the south of the city of Dortmund, in Germany. Hörde is situated at 51°29' North, 7°30' East, and is at an elevation of 112 metres above mean sea level. It situated in southern part of Dortmund, a major town in the Ruhrgebiet. It is made up of the areas of Wellinghofen, Höchsten, Benninghofen, Loh, Holzen, Sommerberg, Syburg, and Wichlinghofen, as well as Hörde itself.

Stadion Rote Erde

Stadion Rote Erde (Red Earth Stadium) is a 25,000 capacity (3,000 seated) football and athletics stadium in Dortmund, North Rhine-Westphalia. It serves as home to Borussia Dortmund II. The stadium, built in the 1920s, sits in the shadow of the Westfalenstadion.

Florianturm

The Florianturm (Florian Tower, Florian for short) is a telecommunications tower and landmark of Dortmund. It is named after St. Florian, the patron saint of gardeners. The Florianturm is the TV tower of Dortmund and was built in 1959 as an attraction for a federal horticultural show with a height of 219.6 metres. At the time it was briefly the highest freestanding structure in Germany. The tower was constructed similarly to a high concrete chimney.
