Wiedingharde

Wiedingharde was an amt (collective municipality) in the district of Nordfriesland, in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. It was situated on the North Sea coast and on the border with Denmark. Its seat was in Neukirchen (Naisjösbel). In January 2008, it was merged with the Ämter Karrharde, Süderlügum and Bökingharde, and the municipalities Niebüll and Leck to form the Amt Südtondern.

Hindenburgdamm

The Hindenburgdamm or Hindenburg Dam is an 11 km-long causeway joining the North Frisian island of Sylt to mainland Schleswig-Holstein. Its coordinates are {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:54|53|N|8|33|E|type:landmark|| |primary |name= }}. It was opened on 1 June 1927 and is exclusively a railway corridor.

Møgeltønder

Møgeltønder is a small town with a population of 858 (1 January 2012), located in Møgeltønder Parish and Tønder Municipality in the southwestern corner of the Danish peninsula of Jutland 5 kilometers north of the Danish-German border and 4 kilometer west of Tønder. Møgeltønder is known for the royal residence of Schackenborg Castle the home of the Danish Queen Margrethe II and Prince Henrik's younger son Prince Joachim.

Schackenborg Castle

Schackenborg Castle is a royal residence of the Danish monarch located in Møgeltønder, Southern Jutland. Originally called Møgeltønderhus (Møgeltønder House) the former stronghold on the site was the property of the Roman Catholic bishops of Ribe. It served as protection against the Frisians in the south, and guarded the waterway that joined Vidå to Tønder. During the Reformation in Denmark the mansion was confiscated from the Church by the Danish crown.

Højer

Højer, is a town with a population of 1,213 (1 January 2012) and a former municipality in south Denmark, in Region of Southern Denmark on the west coast of the Jutland peninsula. The municipality covered an area of 117 km², and had a total population of 2,861 (2005). Its last mayor was Peter Christensen, a member of the Social Democrats (Socialdemokraterne) political party. The coastal area of the former municipality is a nature reserve.
