Lake Volvi

Lake Volvi is located in the root of the Chalkidiki peninsula, in the Thessaloniki regional unit, Greece. Lake Volvi is the second largest lake in Greece. It is about 12 miles in length, and 6 or 8 miles (or km) wide. The area is 68 km² and the depth is 20 m. It is located east of Lake Koronia (Lake Lagkada). The new Via Egnatia highway runs along the northern shore of the lake and the old road runs to the south.

Lefkotopos

Levkotopos is a village in the municipal unit of Achinos, Serres regional unit, Central Macedonia, Greece. It has 242 inhabitants. In Lefkotopos is situated the KEP of the municipal unit of Achinos. The village was founded on 1922, by Pontic Greeks, also by Greek inhabitants of North-East Anatolia, an area whose population has been Greek since the early Greek history, and who were expelled from their homes in 1922, by the Turks.

Stagira

Stagira (Greek: Στάγειρα or Στάγιρα, also fem. Stagiros Στάγιρος or Stageiros Στάγειρος) is a Greek village lying on a picturesque plateau on the Chalcidice peninsula, and standing at the foot of the Argirolofos hill. The village stands approximately 8 kilometers south southwest of the ancient Stageira, the birthplace of Aristotle, and a statue of him stands in it. In Byzantine times, Stagira was called Siderokafsia.
