Vértes is a mountain range in north-western Hungary, in the Central Transdanubian region, between the ranges Bakony and Gerecse. The Vértes Mountains are part of the Transdanubian Mountains. It is home to the Alba Volán Székesfehérvár ice hockey team. The hall's name is taken from Alba Volán's legendary player, Gábor Ocskay, who died in 2009.
