Castleisland Desmonds GAA

Castleisland Desmonds are a Gaelic Athletic Association club in Castleisland, County Kerry, Ireland. The club won its first County Championship in 1950. They won others in 1981, 1982 and 1984. They won the Munster Club Championship and All-Ireland Club Championship in 1985.

Stack's Mountains

The Stack's Mountains are a mountain range about seven kilometres northeast of Tralee, along the N69 road in County Kerry in Ireland. The highest peak in the range is Crusline, which is 355 metres high. Kerry Airport, often called Farranfore Airport, is an airport in Farranfore, Killarney, County Kerry, Ireland. It is 7 nautical miles north of Killarney and the Ring of Kerry, and 8 nautical miles south-east of Tralee. Passenger services are operated by Ryanair and Aer Arann under the Aer Lingus Regional brand.

Currow GAA

Currow is a Gaelic Athletic Association club from Currow, East Kerry in County Kerry, Ireland. Together with 12 other football clubs they form the East Kerry Division of the GAA county of Kerry. Currow offer Hurling as well, but they do not play above intermediate level. The East Kerry board runs its own competitions for clubs within the division. The most important is the O'Donoghue Cup which is awarded to the winners of the East Kerry Senior Football Championship.

Farranfore railway station

Farranfore railway station serves the village of Farranfore in County Kerry. It is the only railway station in Ireland that connects with an airport, in this case Kerry Airport, which is located 1.3 kilometres to the north.
