Fartha, County Cork

Fartha is a small townland in south County Cork, Ireland. Fartha consists of 454 acres of good farming land, predominantly tillage. The origins of the townland are believed to be related to a burial place, land of tombs and graves. There is a ringfort and a famine village in the townland. Ballygarvan, County Cork

Ballygarvan is a village south of Cork City, in County Cork, Ireland. The village and surrounding area has a population of between 1000 and 1500 residents. Occupying the eastern half of Ballinhassig parish, the village lies in the valley between Myrtle and Meadstown Hills, beside the River Owenabue. The village is just off the Cork-Kinsale road with Cork City 9 km to the north and Cork Airport only 2 km away.

Summer Cove

Summer Cove part of Kinsale town on the Kinsale harbour, on the south coast of Ireland; it faces westwards across the entrance of the harbour to the Castlepark peninsula. Charles's Fort is located on the southern edge Summercove, at the water's edge.
