Gilon
Gilon is a communal settlement in northern Israel. Located in the Lower Galilee on Mount Gilon seven kilometres west of Karmiel, it falls under the jurisdiction of Misgav Regional Council. In 2007 it had a population of 1,000. The village was established in 1980 by the Mishkei Herut Beitar movement as part of the Lookouts in the Galilee plan to increase Jewish settlement in the area.

Mar Elias Educational Institutions
Mar Elias Educational Institutions are constituted by a kindergarten, elementary, junior high, and high school as well as a college and a recently established university. The institution is under the direction of the archbishop Elias Chacour. The institutions are located in Ibillin, an Arab village in northern Israel. Arab students from all over the Galilee gather at the institutions regardless of their religion and political views.
