Plain of Manasseh
The Plain of Manasseh is a geographical region in northern Israel, located on the Carmel Range, between Mount Carmel and Mount Amir/Umm al-Fahm. While it is part of the mountain range, it is actually just 200 m above sea level on average, and peaks at 400 m. The plain is bordered by the Jezreel Valley to the northeast, the Yokne'am Stream to the northwest, Wadi Ara to the southeast, and the Nadiv Valley to the southwest. Ramat Menashe is called Balad ar-Ruha in Arabic, meaning "Land of Winds".

Highway 66 (Israel)
Highway 66 is a north-south highway in the Jezreel Valley in northern Israel. It extends along the eastern lowlands below the Menashe Hills and the Carmel. It is 20 km long. In the past the road continued south to Jenin, but today it ends at Ta'anakh junction.

Battle of Mishmar HaEmek
The Battle of Mishmar HaEmek was a ten-day battle fought from 4 to 15 April 1948 between the Arab Liberation Army commanded by Fawzi al-Qawuqji and the Haganah commanded by Yitzhak Sadeh. The battle begun when al-Qawyqji launched an attack against Mishmar HaEmek with the intent of taking the kibbutz, which was strategically placed beside the main road between Jenin and Haifa. In 1947 it had a population of 550.

Nahal Tut, archaeological site
Nahal Tut is an archaeological site excavated along the streambed of the same name in northern Israel's Menashe Heights from February to July of 2005 by Amir Gorzalczany and Gerald Finkielsztejn in preparation for the northward extension of Highway 6. Trig Point N-568 is situated south of Nahal Melah highway (Hwy 70) about halfway between modern Bat Shlomo and Yokneam.
